Natural red diamonds are considered to be among the rarest gemstones on Earth, and at 2.33 carats The Winston Red is also one of the largest diamonds to earn the rare color grade of Fancy Red by the GIA. This extraordinary gem has been donated along with the Winston Fancy Color Diamond Collection by Ronald Wilson and will be unveiled at The Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History on April 1, 2025.

As an Authorized Partner of Argyle Pink™ Diamonds, J FINE has had direct access to some of the most spectacular natural color diamonds ever discovered. J FINE has purchased dozens of special diamonds from multiple Argyle Tenders, including the Ocean Seer™ in 2008,  Divine Lotus in 2015 and the Argyle Dauphine™ in 2013.

At the time, the acquisition of the Dauphine, a 2.51-carat fancy deep pink diamond represented the highest price paid for an Argyle Diamond. J FINE then recut the Dauphine to a 2.37 carat Fancy Red masterpiece—one of the largest in the world.
